Brisca
2–4 players · Spanish deck (40 cards) · 10–15 min per game
Goal: Capture more than 60 of the 120 points.
Setup
- 40-card Spanish deck
- Deal 3 cards each
- Turn the next card up: its suit is TRUMP
- Rest of the deck = stock, on top of the trump card
Your turn
- Each player plays 1 card — any card, no need to follow suit
- Highest trump wins; otherwise highest card of the suit led
- Winner draws first, then the others; winner leads next
- Stock gone? Last card to the winner, trump card to the next player
Special cards
- 1As — highest, 11 pts
- 3Tres — 10 pts
- 12Rey — 4 pts
- 11Caballo — 3 pts
- 10Sota — 2 pts
Scoring
- Order: 1, 3, 12, 11, 10, 7, 6, 5, 4, 2
- 7, 6, 5, 4, 2 = 0 pts
- 120 points in the deck
- 61+ wins · 60–60 ties
